How to add a new Knowledgeone K1 user?
To access Knowledgeone K1 each user requires a User
Profile record (which also links to a Person record). To add a new user:
- Logon to Knowledgeone K1.
- Select the 'User Profile' object (from
the icons or by expanding the object list).
Note: Access to this object can be restricted by your Administrator.
If you do not have access to this object please see your
Administrator.
- You can create a new 'User Profile' or
you can copy an existing User as a baseline.
To create a new record, click the 'Add' method.
To copy an existing user, select 'Search' and then select 'External
ID'. On the list locate the 'User Profile' you wish to copy and click the
'Clone' button.
Note: Access to methods can be restricted by your Administrator. If
you do not have access to certain methods please see your
Administrator.
- Complete the necessary fields.
Note: All fields marked with an "*" are mandatory. Mandatory fields
are:
- Click OK to save your User.
Your User ID is now ready for use.
