Automating your mailroom with RecFind 6 and the MINI-API

 

This is an easy and automated process using RecFind 6. Different methods are available depending on your requirements (e.g. volume of mail & workflow processes).

 1.       Scan

Options: 

(a)    You can scan a document, perform OCR, convert the image to a searchable PDF and upload to RecFind 6 using either the RecFind 6 Button or the RecFind 6 Smart Client (low volume, distributed scanning, document by document basis)

(b)   You can batch scan multiple documents, automatically spilt documents, perform OCR, convert the images to searchable PDFs and upload them to RecFind 6 using the High Speed Scanning Module (medium to high volume, centralized scanning, batch processing)

 2.       Distribute

Options:

(a)    If you just want to notify the recipient(s) you can simply send (either automatically or manually) an e-mail notification containing a hyperlink to the document utilizing the RecFind 6 Mini-API. All the user needs to do is click on the hyperlink to securely see the document displayed in an Internet browser (supports smart phones, tablets, laptops, PCs, etc.).

(b)    If you want to allocate a task or workflow for the recipient(s) to complete, utilize the integrated RecFind 6 workflow module. Tasks & workflows can be allocated either automatically or manually. The recipient of the task receives e-mail notification of the new task, which can be configured to include a hyperlink to the document utilizing the RecFind 6 Mini-API. Again, all the user needs to do is click on the hyperlink to securely see the document displayed in an Internet browser (supports smart phones, tablets, laptops, PCs, etc.).
